Allison has a background in construction and development and understands the entire scope and process of a project, from start to finish. The number one goal in her design process is to ensure a successful project for you, and to get you the most value for your investment! When presented a project, Urban Details analyzes the proposed project requirements, neighborhood and demographics in order to select the appropriate materials. Urban Details creatively implements these materials for a high-end look without breaking the budget, and creates a beautiful product that set’s itself apart from other competitors, generating a design that is marketable to the largest pool of perspective buyers possible.
Urban Details Design Package is intended to take out any guess work on the job site by providing clear specifications on a detailed finish schedule and specifications package that coordinates with AutoCAD drawings for review of design, budget, and subcontractor coordination for easy purchasing and installation.

About Urban Details
Allison Gaylord, principle designer/owner
Allison began her design career in the area of Hospitality Design, working for a local Seattle firm for five years. She loved working in that industry, but when she was approached by builder’s who struggled to adapt to the new more popular modern design and desperately needed her help to make their projects successful, she couldn't resist the challenge and opportunity. Urban Details was established in 2005 where Allison began working with builders and developers in the area of new construction speculative development of single family homes, town/row homes, and multi-family projects. Along the way, Allison has also worked on many custom residential projects!

When Allison's not designing for others, you will probably catch her hanging out with her teenagers, tending to her very large indoor plant collection, gardening or travelling.
